Your journey will be unique to you and will focus on identifying and then overcoming the issues that are really holding you back. We don’t stick to formulaic leadership development approaches because we don’t believe they work.
We create learning in the room, in real time, based on what you tell us is important. We question, we challenge, we explore, and we ask participants to be the architects of their own experience. In this way we empower people to identify the root causes of their biggest challenges and then to create new ways to overcome them.

Step 1 - Identifying your adaptive challenges
We don’t shy away from the big challenges. Adaptive challenges are complex and ambiguous in nature and require teams to learn new ways of thinking and doing to overcome them. By engaging teams on identifying and overcoming these complex challenges we start to build trust and a shared sense of achievement.

Step 2 - Setting your agenda
We don’t tell you what we think you should focus on; we listen to your challenges and respond to your needs. Throughout our unique ‘agenda setting process’, participants are actively engaged in asking big questions and being curious. We work with participants to identify what’s really holding them back and what they most want to overcome. This enlightening process enables teams to find genuine alignment and shared purpose.

Step 3 - Achieving your objectives
We believe a successful client outcome is when the insights we enable and the tools we provide become part of the every-day fabric of an organisation, helping to guide people and inform their decisions for years to come. This is how we inspire and enable true transformation.
Incorporating an experiential learning process, whereby participants “learn by doing” and by reflecting on their experience, we aim to work ‘in the round’ with your agenda, in real time. This approach is a hallmark of the ALA experience and enables our expert facilitators to tap directly into the current challenges of your team, establish a commitment to move forward and allow the deeper work to commence.
Our approach is highly immersive and engaging and requires active participation from all team members. We understand that this can be initially confronting for some however, we pride ourselves on our ability to quickly build trust and engagement with even the most reluctant participants. Participant safety, both physical and emotional is always top of mind.
